As many of you will know, Clovenfords Primary School was opened this morning. You can read more in the following news articles:
If you have any words or pictures you’d like to share, feel free to get in touch.
We hope to include a feature on the first months of business at the school in the next issue of Clovenfords Magazine, to come out in June.

The UK’s average broadband speed is around 7.6 Mbit/s and growing (at Nov 2011). However, as many local residents have noticed problems with the speed of their internet connection, we’re measuring the average broadband speed in the Clovenfords area.
Could you please take a couple of minutes to test your internet speed? It’s really easy:
1. Go to www.broadbandspeedchecker.co.ukUPDATE
As of 31 March we have recieved 27 responses. There is a large variation in download speeds as you can see in the graph below, with an average speed of 4 Mb/s.

In order to get a better sample, please encourage others to take the survey.

The third issue of Clovenfords Magazine is now being printed and will be delivered shortly.
In the meantime an online copy is available here, and please remember to make a donation if possible at the village shop or hotel.
In other news, I’ve noticed a new notice board outside the shop:

Inspired by the success of Clovenfords.net, the Scotts have created a website for Thornielee. Have a look at www.thornielee.org.uk.
