On Saturday 7th June the Hall hosted a Midsummer Ceilidh. A very enjoyable and energetic evening was had by everyone who attended. Congratulations to Jane Jeffrey who won the “Guess the Malt” competition.
We would like to thank Paul Capaldi for the music and talking us through the dances, Barnett’s Catering for the excellent buffet and Alex Fotheringham for running the bar. We are especially grateful to everyone who attended and so supported our fundraising efforts.
Coming up: An evening with Keats Quartet
The hall’s next fundraising event is on 28 August 2014 at 7.30 pm. The all woman Keats Quartet plays a variety of music from the purely classical to an assortment of popular music. The evening will provide an unforgettable performance and a perfect atmosphere. There will be a licensed bar.
