Commonly used terms in community council minutes
AGM | Annual general meeting |
Area forum | Old name for area partnerships, used from 2012-2017 |
Area partnership | A committee of Scottish Borders Council consisting of the councillors for the area’s wards and a community council member from each of its community councils. There are five area partnerships and they meet five times a year. Known as ‘area forums’ 2012-17 and ‘area committees’ pre-2012. |
